Title: Technical Sales Representative
Location: Western Region of the U.S.
Summary: The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) will be responsible for maintaining and developing business within the ethanol production facilities within this area. Some of the overall responsibilities in this position are developing strategic and tactical objectives, on-site customer visits, performing on-site product trials, monitoring of sales performance, budget creation for accounts and personal expenses, troubleshooting customers plant performance, and assist in the development of training programs.

This position will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

Requirements:
  • Ideally, a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a scientific discipline preferred.
  • Ideally, at least 2 years relevant experience either in ethanol industry sales or production.
  • Willingness for significant travel.
  • Good interpersonal skills and experience in the development of working relationships.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team, but also have the ability to operate independently on assigned accounts if needed.
  • Computer ability – Microsoft Office & web based communication programs.
